Destination Wedding at Palácio Marquês da Fronteira, Lisbon, Portugal

Francesca & Daniele are from beautiful Umbria in Italy and days before their wedding I met them for a coffee in Baixa Chiado, Lisbon and during our conversation, I asked them “Why are you getting married in Lisbon?” and Francesca replied: “Because every time we are going through a rough phase in our lives we just fly here and all of our problems just go away. Lisbon is special, we are happier here.”

They chose to do their destination wedding in Palácio Marques da Fronteira, which is hands down one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Lisbon. The beautiful gardens filled with statues and fountains of greek gods, the blue tiles (also known as "azulejos”), the beautiful red facade of the palace looking into the gardens, everything is just gorgeous. I still remember that when I arrived to the venue my mind was blown away because every spot was simply too beautiful not to photograph.

This exquisite palace from the 17th-century matched perfectly with the style of Francesca and Daniele which, truth be told, they are a very good-looking couple but also very sophisticated and elegant. I could not imagine them getting married anywhere else, especially knowing the love that they share for Lisbon.
